We believe that EVERYONE can draw. Yes, even you. By drawing together, we not only learn new skills and improve our techniques, we build community through shared experience. Lose yourself in the process. Get into a flow state by focusing on a collection of POST's ordinary objects.

This class is designed to be a fun, experiential, and experimental workshop rather than an academic dive into “learning to draw". Come join the fun! 

For as long as people have been creating visual artwork, there has been a desire to record ordinary, everyday objects. These works evoke a mood and remind us of life’s hidden beauty. As viewers, the chosen still life objects offer some insight into the lives of others.

Melissa’s workshop will focus on drawing with pens, markers, and pencils. Paper and tools will be available. If you have your own favorite tools, please feel free to bring them.

Everyone will bring home a still life drawing and the experience of losing themselves in the process.
