Ceramic Goos
This year, for the Goos I’ve been experimenting with new forms and glazes. The Goos also got into making quilts, so you will see that as a thread throughout.

I am also a printmaker. New this year are “We Are All In This Together,” a screen print, and a tiny hand-colored intaglio print (I learned intaglio printmaking in early 2026). I also have a few new zines to offer, including What’s Up, Butternut?, a zine about butternut squash.
What’s Up, Butternut? is a risograph zine that includes comics, information, and butternut squash seeds inside.

I love making quilts for the Goos and thought the quilts would make nice zipper pouches, too.
Each pouch is one of a kind.
I screen printed the polka dot lining.
About the Goos
Born of toxic waste and pollution, the Goos are a little mutated. But that’s ok! This makes them sensitive to care and adaption. The bowls on their backs are weird, but helpful! They can put stuff in them, and sometimes it’s how they hear! They have a “work with what you have” philosophy. The Goos love quilts made from scraps. Their murky mutated ponds have a face, but they see themselves in them anyway. Living in compromised conditions, they make the best of it. Zine version
